For shopping, there are many options in downtown West Palm Beach to choose from.  CityPlace is the downtown shopping mall, featuring more than 100 retail stores, both national chains and specialty shops.  There are also a number of restaurants in the area.  Other options include the Clematis Street District.  The area includes restaurants, boutique stores and art galleries.  On Thursday nights, Clematis Street features nighttime music and live entertainment.  For more upscale shopping, Worth Avenue is the place to go.  The area also includes some fine dining establishments.  To complete your night out, head to the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.  The venue is the place to go for the opera, the ballet, and for live music and theatre.  The Norton Museum of Art is also a destination for residents and tourists alike.  It is the largest art museum in the entire state of Florida.  For outdoor adventures and entertainment, the Intracoastal is right next door to Flagler Cove.  The waterfront hosts the annual SunFest music and arts festival each spring, bringing in thousands of people to the area.  The Atlantic Ocean and its 47 miles of beaches are also easily within reach.  Enjoy soaking up the warm temperatures and sunshine of South Florida, or choose from one of the many fantastic spots for diving, boating and fishing.  There are also dozens of public parks within West Palm Beach, and the rest of Palm Beach County to enjoy.  For golfers, choose from one of more than 150 public and private golf courses in the region.  When it comes to healthcare, Flagler Cove is close to a number of hospitals in the region.  They include Butler Medical Center and Good Samaritan Medical Center, both in West Palm Beach.  The medical field is a large employer for Palm Beach County, as is tourism.  Children living within Flagler Cove attend school at one of the many schools within the top-rated School District of Palm Beach County.  It is one of the largest public school districts in the nation, and a big employer for the region, as well.  Nearby schools include, Northmore Elementary School, John F. Kennedy Middle School, and Palm Beach Lakes Community High School.  There are also various private schools in the region to choose from, including The King’s Academy, Oxbridge Academy and Cardinal Newman High School.  As for post-secondary education options, Palm Beach Atlantic University is very close to Flagler Cove, located in downtown West Palm Beach.  Other options include, Northwood University and Keiser University.
