West Palm Beach

Enjoy a real community lifestyle when you make CitySide your new home in West Palm Beach.  The townhome complex includes 63 buildings, with 375 residences built with lake views.  WCI Communities built CitySide between 2005 and 2006.  It features a large, heated community swimming pool, a clubhouse with a catering kitchen, an aerobics/dance room, private locker rooms, a 24-hour fitness center and a movie theater.  There is also a BBQ area and a running track that is more than a mile-and-a-half in size.  For the security of residents, there is a 24-hour manned gated entrance, as well as roving security throughout the complex.  Homeowners within CitySide do pay quarterly dues of around $1500.  These fees go to fund maintenance of all common areas, a full-time community manager, maintenance person and fitness instructor.  The fees also pay for property insurance, alarm monitoring, outside pest control treatments, and HD cable television and Internet service.  CitySide is located just off the I-95 ramp, within a few minutes of Downtown West Palm Beach and all of its offerings.  It is one of the best locations in all of Palm Beach County.

Each of the 63 buildings within CitySide contains either four, six, seven or eight units.  The Monterrey Model is three stories, and includes either two bedrooms plus a den and two-and-a-half baths, or four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths.  There is a one or two car garage included, with either 1,400 or more than 2,200 square feet of living space.  These units include nine-foot ceilings.  The Sierra model is two stories with ten-foot ceilings.  Floor models range from between two and three bedrooms, with two to two-and-a-half baths.  All feature space for two cars and range from 1,300 to 1,600 square feet of living space.  The Brentwood models have three bedrooms, and either two or two-and-a-half baths.  They include space for one or two cars, with between 1,500 and 2,300 square feet of living space.  The two story homes include ten to 20 foot ceilings, with prime lake front views and a private patio or porch.  All buildings include CBS construction, with storm windows and tile roofs.

Several major retailers and big box chain stores are nearby, along with banks and restaurants.  CityPlace is the area shopping mall, with a mix of 100 specialty shops and national retail chains.  There are also a number of dining locations.  The Clematis Street district is also in downtown West Palm Beach.  It also includes a mix of stores and dining venues.  As well, this area features nighttime entertainment options.  Worth Avenue is also not far from CitySide, with a mix of fine dining locations and high-end retailers.  The beach is very close to CitySide, as is the Intracoastal.  The area is a prime location for diving, fishing and boating in the region.  There are also dozens of public parks to enjoy outdoor recreational options within the area of Palm Beach County.  Golf is also plentiful, with more than 150 private and public golf courses in the area of Palm Beach County.  This area of Palm Beach County revolves around tourism.  Other job opportunities come in education and the medical field.  When it comes to medical care, residents of CitySide are covered by a number of hospitals in the area, including Good Samaritan Medical Center and Butler Medical Center.  CitySide sits within the boundaries of the School District of Palm Beach County.  The public school district is one of the largest in the entire nation by enrollment numbers, and is top-rated for the region.  Higher education options include Palm Beach Atlantic University, Northwood University and Keiser University, all located in West Palm Beach, Florida.
