Hovnanian is still building new homes in the area.  Other builders that have been a part of the community in the past include Town and Country Townhomes and Coscan. In all, Renaissance Commons is made up of five subdivisions, including more than 300 homes.  The views are all picturesque, whether your home opens up to the Intracoastal, one of the many canals, or the beautiful gardens. Community features include a private swimming pool, plus a cabana and sundeck for residents to enjoy. Condominium fees go to fund the 24-hour security, lawn care, exterior building maintenance, trash service and facilities.  Other things funded by the fees include maintenance of common areas, management fees, and to fund an on-site manager for the community. The homes of Renaissance Commons are found right in the midst of Boynton Beach.  You will find the community just north of Boynton Beach Boulevard, along Congress Avenue in Palm Beach County.

The homes of Renaissance Commons give buyers the choice between a condominium and a townhome.  With a number of different floor plans to choose from, models start at 800 square feet and go upwards of 2,200 square feet.  Prices range from around $100,000 to more than $250,000. Expect to find open floor plans, with split bedrooms and large private master suites.  Many homes also feature luxurious touches, such as walnut flooring, custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.  Also, expect to find high ceilings and crown molding throughout the homes.  All of the homes come with extended covered balconies for enjoying the magical views. Firenze is the name of the building including three story townhomes.  These have either one or two-car attached garages.  Vista Bella includes a few dozen tri-level townhomes.  Other developments include Villa Lago, Monteverde, San Raphael and Santorini.

The area of Renaissance Commons, overall, is a mixed-use development.  The area includes not only condominiums and townhouses, but also some restaurants and retail stores.  This makes it extremely convenient to grab a bite to eat, or make a quick shopping trip without even having to get in your car. Enjoy looking through the small boutiques and chain stores, while eating at one of the many restaurants including Mexican, Chinese, Italian and Greek choices.  If you do not find what you are searching for here, the Boynton Beach Mall is a short drive away from the community of Renaissance Commons.  It includes all of the big name department stores, plus more than 100 specialty shops all under one roof. Many jobs in the Palm Beach County area belong to the tourism trade.  The public school district, the School District of Palm Beach County, is also a large employer in the region. As for medical care, one of the closest hospitals to Renaissance Commons is Bethesda Memorial Hospital.  Bethesda West Hospital is not far from the community, either.

The School District of Palm Beach County is one of the largest school districts in the nation, and covers the community of Renaissance Commons.  Nearby schools, include Boynton Beach Community High School and Citrus Cove Elementary School. Various private schools are also located in the Boynton Beach area of Palm Beach County. Older students can further their higher education at Palm Beach Atlantic University, Florida Atlantic University and Palm Beach State College, among others.
