Welcome to Ponte Vecchio

Boynton Beach

Make your next home in an active-adult community, centered in the heart of Palm Beach County, Florida.  The 55+ community of Ponte Vecchio is truly a one-of-a-kind place that you will not want to miss.  The 647 homes within the neighborhood were built between 2000 and 2003.  Original construction was by Ansca Homes and Levitt and Sons. The neighborhood has 24/7-gated security.  Once inside, residents enjoy a community clubhouse with both indoor and outdoor swimming pools and an outdoor spa.  There are also six Har-Tru lighted tennis courts, a fitness facility, a social hall and card rooms.  There are numerous clubs that hold regular meetings with the community including a men’s club, women’s club and bridge club.  A social director works on-site to help residents enjoy all the activities and entertainment options throughout the year. Homeowners do pay fees into a Homeowner’s Association.  Those fees go to fund the gate security and roving security on-site.  Fees also fund upkeep of the clubhouse and fitness center, landscaping and lawn care community-wide, alarm monitoring, trash service, and exterior house painting.  For the area of Palm Beach County, the low association fees are considered a real bargain. The community of Ponte Vecchio is located between Boynton Beach Boulevard and Gateway Boulevard, on the west side of Jog Road. This area of Boynton Beach is close to the Florida Turnpike and I-95 in Palm Beach County.  The area is in the middle of West Palm Beach and Boca Raton, with easy access to the rest of South Florida.

The single-family, Mediterranean-style, homes in Ponte Vecchio come in one story floor plans.  Square footage ranges from 1,700 to 2,900 square feet of living space. Expect to find three to four bedroom homes, with two to three baths.  Home prices average in the mid $200,000 range to the high $400,000s.  Many homes include walk-in closets, stainless appliances, large screened-in patios and many other upgrades and designer finishes. Residents of Ponte Vecchio do not have to venture out far to enjoy the numerous dining locations, including fine dining restaurants, bistros and family-style options. A number of shopping venues are also right at hand, including national retail chains at the area malls and unique boutique stores that are hard to find just about anywhere else.

It is easy to enjoy the outdoor recreational opportunities that living in South Florida affords.  The beaches of the Atlantic Ocean are a short 20-minute drive from the community of Ponte Vecchio.  Here you will find the perfect spot for fishing or picnicking.  If you are more interested in just soaking in the Florida sunshine, enjoy the scenery from the sand or join in on the fun at one of the dozens of Palm Beach County parks. For boating and diving, nearby Boynton Inlet is a great place to find both.  Also nearby are Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge and the Mangrove Nature Park. For travelers, the airport is just a short 20-minute drive away from Ponte Vecchio. Although many retirees live in Ponte Vecchio, a number of jobs in the community are tourism-related and tied to agriculture. For healthcare, the newly opened Bethesda West Hospital and Bethesda Memorial Hospital are both close to the community of Ponte Vecchio.  There are also a number of other hospitals and medical centers in the area. If you hope to live near your grandchildren, the community of Ponte Vecchio is within the public School District of Palm Beach County.  Nearby schools to the neighborhood, include Hagen Road Elementary School and Odyssey Middle School.
