Spend a day at the beach, within just a 20-minute drive from Nautica Sound.  The area is a prime location for diving, fishing and boating.  A number of outdoor recreational opportunities await you at one of the dozens of Palm Beach County public parks in the area.  Grab a picnic lunch and make a long day of it. For golfers, the options are endless.  There are more than 150 public and private golf courses scattered across Palm Beach County, many located very close to the community of Nautica Sound. When it comes to the job market, tourism is at the top of the list.  Jobs related to restaurants, hotels and tourism attractions are plentiful.  There are also a number of jobs tied to education.  The largest employer in Palm Beach County is the public school system.  It is also one of the largest public school districts in all of the United States by enrollment numbers. As for medical services, Bethesda Memorial Hospital and Bethesda West are both located in the Boynton Beach area of Palm Beach County.   The county also features a number of other hospitals and medical centers. The public School District of Palm Beach County services the community of Nautica Sound.  Children attend Freedom Shores Elementary School, Tradewinds Middle School and Santaluces Community High School. Parents also have the option of choosing from one of the many private schools in the Boynton Beach area. For higher education, Palm Beach State College, Palm Beach Atlantic University and Florida Atlantic University all have college campuses in the area of Palm Beach County.
