The community of Gateway Palms is truly original, with lovely homes and all the amenities that families desire tucked inside desirable Palm Beach County, Florida. The homes were built in the late 1990s to mid 2000s.  Residents of Gateway Palms have access to the community’s heated swimming pool and tennis courts. Homeowners in Gateway Palms do pay monthly fees to a Homeowner’s Association, but those fees are relatively low for the area.  Fees go to fund upkeep of the pool and tennis courts, security, lawn care and basic cable. The community of Gateway Palms is found just north of Le Chalet Boulevard on the west side of Military Trail Road.This area of Boynton Beach is an easily accessible portion of Palm Beach County, and highly sought after by homebuyers. The single-family homes of Gateway Palms include both one and two-story models.  Three, four or five bedrooms are available, with attached two-car garages. Many of the Mediterranean-style homes are priced in the mid $200,000 to high $300,000 range. Expect private covered patios and pools, landscaped yards and fenced properties.  On the inside of the homes, expect to find split bedroom floor plans and vaulted ceilings, along with upgraded features and walk-in closets.

There are a number of nearby dining options to choose from.  Couples will enjoy the array of fine dining establishments for that special night out, while families will enjoy all the choices aimed at a younger audience.  You are sure to find what you are looking for, no matter you taste or your budget. When it comes to shopping, the choices are endless.  There are a number of national retailers at home in the area malls.  If high-end retail shopping is what you are searching for you will find that too, just a short distance from the Gateway Palms community of Boynton Beach. Outdoor recreational opportunities in the area are endless.  The beautiful beaches of South Florida are just a short drive down the road.  Here you will find spots for picnicking, water sports and fishing.  There are also spots for boating and diving, if you so desire. In addition, there are also more than 150 public and private golf courses in, and around, the Boynton Beach area of Palm Beach County.  Whether you are just learning the game, or have been playing for a lifetime, you are sure to find just the right course to match your skills. Catch a history lesson at one of Palm Beach County’s historical sites.  Included in this is the Andrews Home.  It is the oldest home in Boynton Beach, and recently restored.  There are also a number of museums in and around Palm Beach County to explore. The largest employer, by size, in the Palm Beach County area is the School District of Palm Beach County.  Tourism is likely the industry with the largest number of jobs available.  Agriculture is also tied to the job market and economy. Area hospitals include Bethesda Memorial Hospital, located in Boynton Beach.

The homes of Gateway Palms reside within the boundaries of the highly rated School District of Palm Beach County.  Younger residents attend Hidden Oaks Elementary School or Christa McAuliffe Middle School.  Older students attend Park Vista High School. Some parents, though, instead choose to send their children to one of the various private and parochial schools in the area. There are also a number of colleges and universities that are at home in the Palm Beach County area for older students to attend, and those wishing to continue their studies.
