Enjoy the comfort of a 24/7 guard-gated community, with all of the amenities of resort-style living.  That is what you will find within the boundaries of Canyon Isles.  The community is one of four that make up The Canyons.  All homes were built by GL Homes. The community of Canyon Isles includes 500 homes, built on more than 200 acres.  Also featured inside the neighborhood are tennis courts, a community swimming pool with an outdoor spa, and a top of the line fitness facility with an aerobics studio.  There is even a full-time activity director on staff to help residents plan numerous classes and clubs throughout the year. For homeowners with young families, there are three water play zones for the kids and a kiddie pool.  Older kids and adults will enjoy the full basketball court, plus the walking, jogging and bike paths throughout the community.  In addition, homeowners have an open play area perfect for a pick-up game of soccer or football with the neighbors. The community of Canyon Isles is located in Boynton Beach in the center of Palm Beach County.  The area is in between West Palm Beach and Boca Raton, within just a couple of miles from the Florida Turnpike and I-95. You will find Canyon Isles south of West Boynton Beach Boulevard, between Lyons Road and the Florida Turnpike.

The homes of Canyon Isles include 24 separate floor plans to choose from.  They range in size from four to seven bedrooms, and with two to three car garages. Square footage ranges from about 2,200 to upwards of 5,700 square feet.  Expect all homes to include security alarm systems, upgraded granite countertops in the kitchens, high ceilings and brick-paved driveways.Many homes are priced in the mid $300,000 range to the mid $600,000s.

Residents do not have to venture out far for entertainment.  Nearby dining and shopping options are plentiful at the Canyon Town Center.  The shopping center is a neighborhood-style venue, with retail boutique stores, salons and restaurants.  There is also a grocery store on-site, plus several medical offices and even an amphitheater. For outdoor recreation, numerous activities can be planned just a short drive away at one of Palm Beach County’s incredible beaches or public parks.  There are also around 150 private and public golf courses to choose from in the area. For those interested in traveling, the area has easy highway access.  For other travel destinations, Boynton Beach is also about 15 minutes south of Palm Beach International Airport, and about 30 miles north of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Tourism and construction are key players when it comes to the job market.  However, the public School District of Palm Beach County is the area’s largest employer. While Canyon Town Center has an urgent care center for pressing medical issues, the newly built Bethesda West Hospital is also very close to the community, a big convenience for homeowners. Young residents of the community of Canyon Isles attend public schools at one of the many schools that are part of the School District of Palm Beach County.  Nearby schools, include Sunset Palms Elementary School, Olympic Heights Community High School, and Odyssey Middle School. Numerous private schools also accept students from the area, including Northern Private School, St. Mark’s Catholic School and Trinity Christian Academy. As for older students, Palm Beach State College has five campuses throughout Palm Beach County.  Other colleges and universities include College of the Palm Beaches, Palm Beach Atlantic University and Florida Atlantic University.
